The cast recording for the Broadway musical In the Heights, with music and lyrics by Lin-Manuel Miranda and book by Quiara Alegría Hudes. It tells the story of a vibrant community of Latino characters in the Washington Heights neighborhood of Manhattan. Miranda also starred as the main character, a bodega owner named Usnavi.
The box set features remastered audio, 23 tracks and 90 minutes of music, and a 12” x 12” 16-page booklet with full lyrics, original Broadway show photos, a synopsis, and a liner note from Tony and Emmy award-winning director Thomas Kail.
